One of my first projects as Graphic Designer at the University of the Arts London was the London College of Communication Summer Shows. The lead designer creating the identity was Hamish Muir of MuirMCNeil and of course, formerly of 8vo. This was huge for me. The work of 8vo had filled my sketchbooks as a design student and now I had the amazing opportunity to work with one of its founders. This experience continues to be an influence on my approach to design.
My role was to apply Hamish’s work across printed materials including the course brochures, posters, temporary wayfinding and also digital: email banners, BAFTA cinema holding screens and digital listings as well as assisting with print production and installation for the show external window vinyls and internal show signage.
